Choosing A Smart Phone

Remember the days when a phone was simply a phone? You could make a phone call and concentrate on talking to the person on the other end. Those days seem to a thing of the past. Today, aside from the technology that brought us cell phones comes the newest technology the Smart Phones. These are devices were having a cell phone is a small part of using this new technology. These Smart Phones are popping up all over the place, the top three seem to be The Android, the Blackberry and the iPhone.

You can tell just by the price of the phone itself that you are paying for more than just a phone. It seems like these phones can do everything for you by simply touching the screen. If you a student then it is pretty much your desire to have one of these phones even if your parents think its crazy. If you must have one of these phones you should at least take note of some of the features that each one offers.

The iPhone from Apple is said to be the fastest iPhone on the market. You can load pages faster, receive your email faster than any other smart phone. The iPhone also has Video Recording; you can now film a video, edit the video and even share the video right from your phone. The iPhone comes with a 3 Megapixel Camera for the clearest and boldest pictures yet. You will also get Voice Control, a Compass and an option to Cut, Copy and Paste. There is even a built in iPod so you can listen to music while not talking on your cell phone.

The Blackberry has different models in their Smart Phone inventory, you have the Blackberry Pearl, the Blackberry Curve and the Blackberry Storm just to name a few. These phones offer wireless email, an organizer, and a browser so you can search online while talking on the phone. The Blackberry also has a Camera, Video Recording, Blackberry Maps and Media Player.

The Android Smart Phone offers a bit more technology than these two Smart Phones. The Android 1.5 offers a Smart Virtual Keyboard, a home screen that you can customize with widgets. You will find Live Folders that you can look through quickly when you need something in a hurry and it offers Video Recording and sharing plus a whole lot more.

Oh yeah, one more thing that we forgot to mention, one special feature that all three of these Smart Phones offers and that is of course the phone! If you really feel the need to spend money on one of these phones while in College or even High School, make sure that you take very good care of these phones for the money you are paying and will pay every month to have them, these phones should be treated like a baby. If you are not careful you may spend money in the end than you wanted to.
