Da Vinci Days
A mixture of the cerebral and the fanciful, Da Vinci Days is a three-day festival in Corvallis, Oregon that showcases the best in art, science and technology. Highlights include a film and video festival aimed at student and independent filmmakers.
The festival includes a children's village offering activities including
sci-tech demonstrations and performers ranging from jugglers to
puppeteers. There are musical performances all over town, as well as
serious discussions and demonstrations on technology and science.
A
recent addition to the festival is the Kinetic Sculpture Race, where
competitors build a human-powered vehicle and partake in a fun but
demanding race.
