London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) and the British Columbia Institute of Technology School of Business (BCIT) have announced a new partnership to deliver an exclusive postgraduate programme in business designed to teach students worldwide how to communicate, innovate and excel in the fast-changing global marketplace.
Robin Hemmingsen, Dean of the School of Business at BCIT, says: “This programme leads directly to a well-recognised MBA, building on the practical, career-focused business programmes that BCIT School of Business is known for. Degree graduates from any discipline will have the opportunity to study with students from all over the world.”
With campuses in the UK, Canada, and Singapore, LSBF is one the world’s fastest growing business schools. Delivering undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, and professional courses, LSBF partners with leading institutions to offer exclusive programmes and enable students worldwide to reach their career goals.
With over 45,000 students enrolled every year, BCIT is one of British Columbia’s largest higher education institutions. It offers career-focused programmes, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, diplomas, as well as certificates, covering industries such as Natural Sciences, Business & Media, Computing & IT, Health Sciences and Engineering.
Yuliya Etingen, Managing Director for LSBF Americas, commented: “At LSBF we are driven by excellence and we partner with institutions who share our philosophy. We’re very proud to work alongside BCIT and create a programme that will not only give students the skills they need to develop careers in business, but also provide them with the opportunity to progress to an MBA.”
Developed by the academic teams of both institutions, the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is targeted at students who wish to accelerate their career progression or refresh their knowledge and skills before studying for an MBA. The course also provides an excellent basis for international students who do not have the required level of English proficiency for an MBA or other business-related postgraduate degree.
Upon completion, students will be able to progress onto an MBA programme at LSBF, or the New York Institute of Technology in one of the most influential and diverse cities in the world: London, Vancouver or New York.
During the course, students will be able to gain work experience in Vancouver, allowing them to put their theoretical skills into practice in one of Canada’s most important business hubs.
With intakes in January, May and September, the programme covers the essential elements of business, meeting the broad spectrum of career demands faced by today’s professionals.
“We believe that these courses will help experienced professionals stay at the very forefront of their field. With the insight and business knowledge of our faculty, we developed a programme tailored to prepare them for changes in a competitive environment. While preparing for their MBA studies, our students will also gain the skills, knowledge and competencies necessary to improve their performance and adopt a more proactive stance in their careers”, added Ms Etingen.
Ms Hemmingsen agrees: “This is a unique opportunity for students to gain a foundation to excel in the global economy.”
